Rochester, N.Y. - A Rochester man has pleaded guilty to a federal child porn charge.

Jordan Dunn, who pleaded guilty to receipt of child pornography, faces up to 20 years in prison when he is sentenced in September.

Dunn was arrested following an investigation that began last year. A social media company informed law enforcement that child porn had been uploaded by an account holder via a messaging app. The content was later traced an apartment belonging to Dunn and Jeffrey Wehs.

Wehs had been confronted by federal investigators in the parking lot of his workplace. Court papers say he admitted his username was used to upload the child porn, and that the image was a "screen shot off of Tumblr". He said he talked with others about child porn online and had received it in the past.

He told investigators he had looked at child porn for years, and that he had first come in contact with it through Dunn.

“I made a poor choice in searching for, well, whatever you know you call it,": Wehs said.

Dunn was later interviewed at his residence, where court papers say he admitted to looking at child porn. He reportedly said the content was "just something I came across before, and then I guess I just kept going back to".

Dunn's computer and phone were seized, and child porn images and video were located.

Wehs also faces up to 20 years in prison after pleading guilty to possession of child porn. He is scheduled to be sentenced in August.
