On August the 27th 2019, hundreds of Water Protectors and members of the Puyallup Tribe in an action organized by their Water Warrior council, rallied and marched through the streets of Tacoma in opposition to Puget Sound Energy's Liquefied Natural Gas facility.     The plant violates the tribe's treaty rights and presents an unacceptable danger to the people of this area.   

This fracked gas processing facility will be responsible for untold global environmental disaster as methane lost in every stage of its lifecycle will go into the atmosphere.  Methane is 86 times more potent a greenhouse gas than carbon.
